A grow tent does 4 jobs. It holds and reflects light. It seals the space so a fan can control heat and humidity. It keeps light out during the dark period. And it keeps your growing space separate from the room around it. A $150 tent does all 4 well enough for a first run, and we will tell you that.
What the extra money buys
- Fabric. 600D is the serious standard. Thin fabric leaks light at the seams.
- Zips. The most common failure point and the most common light leak.
- Frame. LED bars, fans and filters are heavy. Jungle Room uses 19mm steel and holds up to 80kg. Mammoth Pro+ uses 22mm poles.
- Finish. White walls, like the BudBox Pro White, spread light evenly and show pests and mould early.

Grow tent questions
What size grow tent should I buy?
The biggest footprint that fits your room with space to open the doors and work around it. Then size the light and fan to that tent, not to a tent you might buy later. A 1.2 x 1.2m tent is the most common choice and the easiest to kit out.
Should I get a 2.0m or 2.3m tall tent?
Height eats up fast once a light, fan and filter hang from the roof. If your ceiling allows it, the extra 30cm gives taller plants more room. SeaHawk and Jungle Room both make 2.0m and 2.3m versions of popular sizes.
Why are some tents so much cheaper?
Thinner fabric, lighter poles and cheaper zips. That is fine for a first run. It matters more once you hang heavy gear or need a tent that stays light-tight for years. Corners and zips are what fail first.
Do you sell complete grow tent kits?
Not as fixed bundles. Ring us or come in with your tent size and what you are growing, and we will put together an LED, inline fan, carbon filter and ducting that suit that space, without the extras you do not need.
