Rock Nutrients is a value range with a simple line-up: a base, a root tonic and a flowering enhancer. Its best-known bottle is Rock Resinator, and the question we get most is when to use it. The maker's schedule is below, so you do not have to dig for it.
The range
- Ignite Growth A&B and Ignite Bloom A&B: the base. Rock's normal strength is 5mL of A and 5mL of B per litre.
- Rock Star A&B: a 2-part base you run through both growth and flowering.
- Fusion Bloom: a single-bottle flowering nutrient, NPK 4-2-9.
- Supercharge: a root tonic at 2mL per litre, all the way through.
- Rock Resinator: a phosphorus and potassium flowering enhancer.
Rock Resinator feeding schedule
Rock recommends starting at the beginning of week 2 of flowering and running through to the end. Doses are the maker's, per 4 litres of water.

The label also says you can double these doses. We would not. More potassium on top of a complete base did not add yield anywhere from 60 to 340 mg/L in a University of Guelph study. Run Resinator at the schedule above, skip a second PK booster, and check run-off EC each week. Shake the bottle well first.

Rock Nutrients questions
When do I start Rock Resinator?
At the start of week 2 of flowering, at 4mL per 4L (1mL per litre). Rock's schedule then steps up each week to 14mL per 4L (3.5mL per litre) in weeks 8 and 9.
Can I use Rock Resinator with another nutrient brand?
You can add it to any complete base. Just do not stack it with a second PK booster, because both push potassium, and too much potassium can block calcium. Check run-off EC weekly.
Should I double the Resinator dose like the label says?
We would not. Extra potassium on top of a complete feed has not been shown to add yield, and the higher dose costs more and raises EC. Run the standard schedule and let your plants show you.
What base goes with Rock Resinator?
Rock builds its program around Rock Star A&B, with Supercharge for the roots. Resinator also sits on top of any complete base, including Rock Ignite A&B, which runs at 5mL of A and 5mL of B per litre at normal strength.
