How do I use the Bluelab Soil pH Pen?

1. Before you use the pen, you need to calibrate it to two pH points. The pen comes with two calibration solutions, pH 4 and pH 7. To calibrate the pen, follow these steps:

   1. Turn on the pen.
   2. Place the probe tip in the pH 4 solution.
   3. Press and hold the CAL button until the display shows "CAL 4".
   4. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
   5. Remove the probe tip from the pH 4 solution.
   6. Repeat steps 2-5 with the pH 7 solution.

2. Once the pen is calibrated, you can use it to measure the pH of your soil. To do this, follow these steps:

   1. Remove the storage cap from the pen.
   2. Insert the probe tip into the soil.
   3. Wait for the reading to stabilize.

How often should I calibrate the Bluelab Soil pH Pen?

You should calibrate the pen after every clean and at least monthly.

You may need to calibrate it more often if you are using it in harsh conditions or if the pen is not being properly cared for.
