Microbes
Why your plants need Microbes
A root hair is only about half a millimetre long. Everything past that, your plant never gets. Mycorrhizae is what fixes it.
Nine on the shelf. Most growers only need one, so here it is.

Great White Mycorrhizae
- 15 species of mycorrhizal fungi
- 19 species of beneficial bacteria
- 2 species of trichoderma for root disease
- Plant vitamins and glycine
| 150g | $400/kg | $60 |
| 750gBEST VALUE | $291/kg | $218 |
A root hair is half a millimetre
That is your entire root reach. Anything further out, your plant never gets.
The fungus goes where the root cannot
It grabs the root and grows past it. The plant pays in sugar, it brings back water and food.
You are buying a root system, not a booster
Roots reach further without the plant growing a single extra root.
Two ways growers waste this
One: it has to touch the root. In the hole at transplant, not dusted on top three weeks later. Two: it is alive, so hydrogen peroxide kills it. Do not run both in the same week.
This is the whole argument for microbes, in one picture.
Only worth reading if the pick above is not you.

When do I add it?
Can I run microbes with a synthetic feed?
Do I still need a root stimulant?
Root stimulants
A microbe extends the roots you have. A stimulant makes the plant build more of them.
See root stimulantsCal-Mag
In coco under LED, the medium takes its cut of calcium and magnesium before your plant does.

Bigger roots feed a bigger plant. Silica is what keeps that plant standing up under the weight.
